Gov. Ron DeSantis addressed Floridians at a press conference Saturday morning regarding the state's response to Hurricane Isaias as the storm could bring impacts to Florida's east coast.
DeSantis spoke at the State Emergency Operations Center.
The National Hurricane Center has been monitoring Hurricane Isaias as the storm has intensified over the past few days into a Category 1 hurricane. Hurricane warnings are in effect from Boca Raton north to the Brevard-Volusia County line.
Isaias is expected to pass by Florida's east coast Saturday afternoon through Sunday.
